Dr. Wong is a board-certified and fellowship-trained Comprehensive Ophthalmologist and Medical Glaucoma Specialist.  She treats a wide variety of eye conditions, from cataracts and glaucoma to macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, among many others.  She also provides a wide range of eye care services, from routine exams and glasses prescriptions to laser procedures and surgeries, including laser-assisted cataract surgery.

Dr. Wong is a Crescenta Valley native – she was born at Verdugo Hills Hospital and grew up in La Canada.  After high school, Dr. Wong attended Brown University in Rhode Island where she obtained a B.A. in Psychology and was a member of the Sigma Xi Scientific Honor Society.  She then returned to Los Angeles and obtained her medical degree at the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine in 2007, graduating with Highest Distinction.  After medical school, she moved to Chicago for her ophthalmology residency, which she completed in 2011 at the University of Illinois at Chicago.  Finally, in 2012 she completed a glaucoma fellowship in Boston at Harvard University’s Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.  After moving all over the country, Dr. Wong is happy to be back in her hometown serving the local community where she grew up.

Aside from ophthalmology, Dr. Wong’s other interests include live music, dance, theater, and travel.  She plays the piano and cello, and she is fluent in both Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.
